Quality guarantee monitoring system

To keep track of the wines as they pass through the distribution process, the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin has introduced a quality guarantee monitoring system that assures the complete and individual traceability of each bottle of tasteviné wine.

In tandem with the wine-tasting, the wine is sent to an enological laboratory where each lot is analysed. The analysis is based on eight set criteria (voluminal mass, alcoholic degree, LMF, acidities, etc.) which provide the data for an analysis identity card for each wine.

The Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin regularly takes wines from wine-shops and the wine-departments of large supermarkets which are then compared with the analysis data done before wine-tastings and with the control samples kept in the Oenothèque of the Tastevinage if needed.

With this double guarantee of authenticity, the customer can be confident he is making the right choice when he opts for a tasteviné wine.
